Tusk supports innovative wildlife conservation projects throughout Africa. Since 1990 the charity has helped local organisations and communities to protect important habitat and some of the continent's most treasured animals – including elephants, lions and gorillas – so that both people and wildlife can thrive. 

For over 30 years, the charity has helped pioneer a wide range of successful conservation initiatives across more than 20 countries, increasing vital protection for over 40 million hectares of land and more than 40 threatened species.

TUSK X LONDON MARATHON

Tusk has had runners from around the globe competing in the London Marathon for many, many years. Over this time, the runners have fundraised close to £1million in support of African wildlife conservation.

In October 2022, our runners raised a fantastic £37,500. In 2023, we challenge our runners to raise even more. Please help by giving what you can, so that your friend/ family member/ colleague can run this challenging, iconic event knowing that they are making a big impact to the lives of animals and people across Africa.
