Run for Hugo 💚

My Story

On April 23rd I will be running the London marathon!
I've  chosen to raise Money for my little cousin Hugo. 💚

Hugo was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis prematurely before birth which was then diagnosed through blood tests when Hugo was born.

Everyone who lives with TSC is affected differently, with common challenges including difficult to treat epilepsy, neurodevelopment disorders (like Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), developmental delay and other problems.

Currently Hugo's biggest challenges are his sensory needs, poor sleep and delayed speech and social development. Hugo also displays all the signs off autism and is on the pathway to diagnosis.

In the past Hugo also suffered from epilepsy caused by growths in his brain causing Hugo to have seizures.

Hugo has  been so brave and has had some surgeries at Great Ormand Street hospital to help get the seizures under control. He was one of the youngest to have this type of procedure.

Despite all this is Hugo is very happy and cuddly. His parents Sharon and Dave are doing such an amazing job.

So please donate to help us raise awareness and improve the lives of everyone affected by the rare condition Tuberous Sclerosis Complex.

Any donation big or small will be much appreciated

Thankyou

Here’s a little bit about The TSA:
The Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA) is the only UK charity focused on improving the lives of everyone affected by the rare condition Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). TSC can be a life-changing condition, impacting on entire families and social groups.

The TSA works tirelessly for everyone affected by TSC. We do this through:

Providing direct support and information, including the free TSA Support Line

Funding and leading on new research into the diagnosis, causes and treatment of TSC

Awareness-raising to make sure that more people know about TSC

Advocacy and campaigning, so that people affected by TSC get the support that they deserve

We can only continue to be here thanks to the incredible people and organisations who take the amazing step to provide donations to us. By kindly giving to the TSA, you help to change lives.
