My Story
I am excited to run the London Marathon this April to raise money for a super charity, The Forward Trust. I’d be very grateful for any donations to my fundraising page.
This will be my third marathon. I debuted at London 2015 when I first fell-in-love with the sport. My second marathon was the COVID-effected, virtual, London marathon in 2020. I tried to run in 2021, but I suffered a stress fracture in training. I tried again, last year, in 2022, but I broke my arm a few weeks before, falling off a horse. So I have not run with the crowds in London since 2015 and I can’t wait!
A bit about my charity: The Forward Trust empowers people to break the cycles of addiction or crime to move forward with their lives. Since 1991 they have been working with people to build positive and productive futures. They believe that anyone is capable of lasting change, whatever their past. Their services have supported thousands of people to make changes to create better lives with jobs, family, friends and a sense of community. They are a national organisation. HRH The Princess of Wales is a patron of The Forward Trust along with Tony Adams MBE & Sir Anthony Hopkins CBE to name but a few.
Thank you so much in advance for your support,
Fiona
