My Story

Hi! I’m Jamie.

I'll be running the 2023 London Marathon to raise money and awareness for the NSPCC. It's an exciting feeling to be training to run one of the most famous marathons in the world while raising money for a charity which works so hard to protect children from neglect and abuse.

The last few years have highlighted how vulnerable so many children are. Childline’s volunteers have been experiencing record numbers of calls and messages from struggling children, demonstrating the essential service it provides and how important it is for them to have free, secure access to help at all times.

I, like so many others, have witnessed how NSPCC helps not only prevent abuse from happening in the first place, but helping those who have suffered abuse to rebuild their lives. The charity’s schools outreach programmes and local services make such a difference to children and their families, which we need to see continue.

Any donations you’re able to make will be unbelievably gratefully received and go towards improving the lives of young, vulnerable people.

Thank you so much for your support!

Jamie
