My Story

I wanted to reach out to ask if you could help me raise funds for wakefield hospice.

They have helped Lorraine through some rocky times since her cancer diagnosis. I want to help to make sure they are able to help us and others in the future.

Wakefield Hospice is proud to offer its core services free of charge to patients and their families. It costs £11,500 per day to run the hospice. The hospice endorses a holistic approach in promoting quality of life for patients as well as providing the continuing support that is offered to families and carers. The hospice's main priority of care is to achieve the best possible quality of life for patients, whilst supporting their families during the period of illness and throughout the period of bereavement.

I’m taking part in the London Marathon, which isn’t going to be easy. Training has started late due to injury but I will complete the 26.2 miles whatever it takes. I’ve seen the struggle Lorraine goes through day in day out. She’s not quitting, and neither will I.

Please donate, even if you can spare just £1 it would help massively.

Thank you in advance. Stephen
